WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE BOOK...
B.Y.O.B. nails it. George has put together in 130 pages how to find the right clients and set up your business to be productive. This is the most well organized business building “manual” that I have seen in a long time.

George Sierchio's newly-revised BYOB is an excellent book for any entrepreneur who wants to sit down and start working ON the business.
As with any good coaching book, there's some advice you might not want to hear. Like "Multi-tasking is a 4 Letter Word." But once you stop being defensive about the way you have been doing things and open up to a new approach, your productivity will soar.
In this handy book George covers everything from client management to employees, time management, positioning your business for maximum profit, and more. One of my favorite chapters is on finances. This is probably the biggest weak spot for consultants. It's the thing they dislike and avoid -- often to great detriment.
BYOB is a wonderful book for anyone who is ready to start taking their business to the next level. Read it. Think about it. Then read it again. You'll be glad you did!

Not only was this book a pithy must-read for any consultant or leader desiring a successful and well run machine, but George has further positioned himself as a thought leader and subject expert who walks the talk. The overview provided is succinct yet poignant, tactile but visionary, and is invaluable to beginners and veterans alike. Kudos for this essential reading.

This book is required recession reading! I read the book over a couple of flights, and each time I landed, I implemented George’s suggestions. For example, I committed myself to answering e-mails at a few set times per day. Guess what? The world kept turning and I was able to increase my productivity – all because of this book!”

George really nails what it takes to be an entrepreneur. My greatest day is when I fired myself as an employee and focused on building a business. “Build Your Own Business” is uplifting and also a smack in the side of the head with a 2x4. I have seen many business owners simply spin out of control and I wish I had this book to share with them, however now I do. George, this book simply rocks, it is a great easy reminder of what it takes to truly succeed in today’s changing business world. Embrace change it is constant in the universe.

The first thing I noticed about this book (1st Edition) was its size - or lack there of. How in the world could you teach anyone how to build your own business and not be your own boss in 105 pages? Easy. Take out the feel good fluff that litters hundreds of other books and get down to brass tacks. George gets to the point, and quick. George explains how to run your business as if you were selling it - regardless if you are or not is not the point. The point is if you align your business with this thought; you will have a real business and not a job.
